The Spring Fling Festival is a huge event held in Downtown Moultrie each year. Thousands come out to experience the festivities. More than 80 vendors set up around the square on Saturday, selling jewelry, lawn art, home decor, food, and so much more! With a huge kickoff concert Friday night, a pancake breakfast Saturday morning, multiple free kids activities, a BBQ competition, the Titus Ranch Race, arts & crafts, and a nearly endless supply of shopping opportunities, you and your family will spend the whole day having a blast!
OLD NEWS FLASH!! Both the 5K and 10K runs have been reversed, giving you a wide, downhill start before you hit the bike path! You will all breath a sigh of relief since you dont fight the hill and pain in the last quarter mile!

The 5K $25 and 10K $40 entry fees are good until midnight April 6, 2024 and includes a shirt. The shirt cut off date midnight April 6, 2024.
Late entry fees are $30 and $45 until 6pm on Friday April 19, 2024 and may not include a shirt. Race day entries are $40 for the 5K and $50 for the 10K The One Mile Fun Run is only $10 at all times but does NOT include a shirt
Race day packet pick up will begin at 8am, also at Beans and Strings.
RACE DAY Announcements will commence at 9am and both the 5K and 10K will start at 9:15 sharp!
The 1 Mile run will start at 10am
AWARDS for both the 5K 1nd 10K will start at 11AM
The START / FINISH OF BOTH 5K AND 10K ARE ON 1st St NE, even with the double doors of the courthouse. See the COURSE MAPS on ITS YOUR RACE. Just select your event on the left side of the page.
Runners proceed south and make a right turn on 7th Ave SW. Runners will next turn left at 4th ST SW, running past the Williams Middle School and Mountrie Recreation Complex. Next turn right on 12th Ave SW and then left onto the bike path, heading SOUTH. The 5K uturns about 150 yards after entering the bike path while the 10k will continue south another mile plus.
After each race u-turns, runners will continue north to the end of the bike path and make a right at 1st Ave NW. Finally, runners make a right turn onto 1st St NE for the last 170 yards, finishing at the Start / Finish line.
Spring Fling & Backyard BBQ
The next Spring Fling and Backyard BBQ will be held April 19th & 20th, 2024.
Spring is in the air, and soon the smell of BBQ will be too. Downtown Moultrie’s Spring Fling and Backyard BBQ Festival is held on the 3rd weekend in April. In 2022 more than 80 vendors set up around the square. Jewelry, lawn art, leather belts, food, and so much more was sold! With the Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast, Entertainment, Kids Activities, a BBQ Competition, and Arts & Crafts, you’ll be able to find something the whole family is sure to love!
Friday kick-off concert: 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM.
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
